Who We Are
We are an independent, non-partisan think tank that conducts intensive research, analyses and consults on global energy markets and policies that impact them. We, specially, focus on carrying out research in the following areas:
1. Analyzing global oil markets and petroleum products is one of our key focus areas.
2. In an increasingly volatile world with unpredictable global geopolitics, we study energy security contexts that would ensure unhindered access to energy, especially in the developing world.
3. To research issues around energy transition.
4. To research and advocate ways in which communities not only become energy sufficient but energy producers instead of energy consumers. This kind of research will work around the principle of energy justice.
5. Much of the energy discourse today takes place within the context of climate change. We explore efficient and effective solutions to today’s environmental challenges, which are critical to the well-being of people.
The Energy Forum (TEF) is supported by a network of scientists, economists, policy makers, diplomats, researchers and academics considered experts in their field. The team aims to put collective knowledge and experience in making the planet a better place to live in through formulating new paradigms for sustainable transitions and engendering robust developmental narratives.
